Killanoher Burial Ground stood on a NE-facing slope in County Limerick until cultivation erased it around 1800. Children were buried there, though Lynch also recorded adult bones found nearby years earlier. Two whitethorn bushes still mark the vanished church of the road, holding a circle of quiet loss beneath ordinary pasture.

Situated on a NE-facing slope in gently rolling pasture with good views to N, S and SE. Marked on 1840 OS map as a circular area (diam. c. 20m) named 'site of Killavoher Burial Ground.' According to the OS Letter Books 'children were buried here until about the year 1800, when the place was cultivated.' According to Lynch (1911-1913, 26) two whitethorn bushes mark the site of 'Cill a' bhothair, the church of the road'; also according to Lynch (1896, 449) 'many years ago some human bones- but not of children- were found near this kyle.'.
