Standing stone in Castletown (dundalk Upper By.) is a 1.3m granitic boulder on the NE slope of a ridge near Dun Dealgan motte in County Louth, Ireland. Tradition holds it for Lia Lingadon, linked to the herd of Dictoire, mother of Cu Chulainn. Its size is modest, but its name carries a world of cattle, hero-blood and remembered land.

The following description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Situated on NE slope of ridge to NE of Dun Dealgan motte (LH007-118007-). Granitic boulder (max. dims. H 1.3m, 0.7m square in section). According to tradition (OS Memoranda 5439 C) this is 'Lia Lingadon', the stone of Lingadon, herd of the cows of Dictoire, Cu Chulainn's mother.
