On a SE-facing slope at the E end of the Carnfree ridge within the ecclesiastical enclosure (RO028-075004-) A standing stone (dims of base 0.4m x 0.4m; H 1.05m) aligned NW-SE is just outside the SE angle of the church (RO028-075005-).

Likely dating to the early medieval period, this standing stone may have had a ceremonial or territorial function, possibly linked to the nearby ecclesiastical site. Local folklore sometimes associates such stones with saintly legends or ancient boundary markers.
