Freestanding lime kiln, built c.1800, standing in its own quarry. Walls of large limestone blocks, with tooled quoins. Segmental arch to front elevation. Ramped access to rear.
This large and well constructed limekiln is in good condition. It is a testament to the skills of the builders and a reminder of past rural and agricultural industry.
