Booladurragha North stood on a ridge in County Cork, watching every road and field below. The stone disappeared around 1965, joined by nearby stones in a removal that sounded like forgetting but may have been making room for living. Whatever it marked, it marked openly, at the top of the land, where even a stone cannot hide.

Likely dating to the Bronze Age, this standing stone was positioned for visibility and may have had ritual or territorial significance. Its removal in the mid-20th century, along with others, suggests possible clearance for agriculture, though local folklore or specific use remains unrecorded.
