Bealick holds a vanished standing stone recorded by Smith in 1750, located sixty yards southeast of a stone row and sized between its largest and smallest members. The ground keeps no visible trace, yet the measurement suggests a deliberate marker rather than a random boulder. Perhaps it guided herds, marked a boundary or watched a road now forgotten. The absence does not erase the shape; it invites imagination to complete what the soil concealed.

Smith (1750, 178) recorded a stone 60 yards SE of the stone row (6504), which was roughly midway in size between the largest and smallest stones of the row. Exact location not known.
