What is recorded here
A standing stone marked Ballybricken West before recent removal. It rose from low-lying pasture where grass and rain moved gently, giving the field a older shape and a reason to be remembered. Local information still points to that lost marker, preserving the place even after the stone disappeared.
In low-lying, gently undulating pasture. According to local information a standing stone stood at this location but was removed in recent times.
