On E-facing slope to N of stream. Enclosed by circular stone wall (H c.1m); grotto on SW wall contains offerings. According to date plaque, renovated 1880. Linked to St Brigid of Kildare, the well is associated with healing and fertility traditions, common in early Irish Christianity. Offerings in the grotto suggest ongoing veneration, possibly reflecting pre-Christian practices adapted into Christian devotion.
