The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). Marked 'Site of Castle' on 1837 'OS 6-inch' map. Approximately rectangular area (c. 30m x c. 30m) planted with trees. Foundation course (min. L 4m) of boulders exposed in field drain at SE.
