Shark's Fin is a prominent coastal rock formation in Cornwall, composed primarily of granite and formed during the late Carboniferous to early Permian periods, around 290–300 million years ago. It is notable for its distinctive, sharp, fin-like shape, likely sculpted by differential erosion of the surrounding softer rock.
