Longships Lighthouse, located at the southern tip of the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, was built in 1752 and is one of the oldest surviving lighthouses in the United Kingdom. It is important as a key navigational aid and a historic structure associated with maritime safety in the English Channel.
