Land's End

Land's End is a prominent headland composed mainly of granite, formed around 280 million years ago during the late Carboniferous to early Permian period. The granite intruded into older metamorphic rocks and was later exposed by erosion, creating a striking coastal feature notable for its dramatic cliffs and as a traditional western boundary of England.
