Shanaclogh Castle — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

On a natural rise of ground in undulating countryside with good views in all directions. Described by White (1892, 50) as 'The castle of Shanaclogh (the old stone) upon a height overlooking Cappagh'. The poorly preserved remains of a castle are located in the garden of an early 1900s cottage, where the N wall acts as a boundary wall of the main road and the S wall acts as a boundary hedge of the cottage garden. The castle walls (surviving H 1.7m; L 5m) were constructed with roughly coursed limestone rubble with a base-batter visible and rounded corners.
