Once a school master's house, it now serves as domestic residence. Built around 1860, the school master's house on Lispatrick Lower is a detached school master's house with two bays. The pitched slate roof gives Lispatrick Lower a clear surviving example of school master's house design. A pitched slate roof and chimney stacks survive.
