Subsequently in use as Royal Irish Constabulary barracks/Garda Síochána station. Reroofed, c.1970. Now in residential use with carriageway now boarded-up. Gable-ended roof. This house is a well-maintained middle size building that retains much of its original character. The house, which was possibly built as part of a scheme funded by the Rathmore House estate, is of considerable social and historical interest, having subsequently served as a Royal Irish Constabulary barracks/Garda Síochána station, and represents the former presence of civic services in the locality. The house, which is road fronted and forms an attractive feature in the locality, continues the established roofline of the terrace and streetscape and retains much of its original features and materials, including small-pane timber sash fenestration.
