What is recorded here

Located on a gentle NW-facing slope. The cropmark of a small circular enclosure (diam. c. 12m) with a central pit is visible on aerial photographs (MM (13) 35–6). Archaeological monitoring (22E0440) by Y. Whitty of a water-mains (L 2.4km) c. 100m to the E produced no related material (excavations.ie 2022:169). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
