What is recorded here

Marked as a small rectangular enclosure (ext. dims c. 30m N-S; c. 30m E-W) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6 inch map. It is located in a fairly level landscape. No feature is visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture. (Barry 1977, 214, WX 10) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
