End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey former house, built c.1850. The building is finished in render. To the south side of the sheeted front door is a small four pane shop window; directly over is a ‘naive’ painted, timber boarded signboard. To the north side is a sheeted door which gives access to the house. Window openings are flat-headed with two over two timber sash frames. The pitched roof is finished with artificial slate and cast-iron rainwater goods. The chimneystacks are rendered with clay pots. The building is road fronted and faces onto the Square.

A house and shop combination which is delightful in its vernacular simplicity. It is presently vacant but it remains in good, original condition. It adds an additional dimension to the streetscape.
