Graveslab in Templemore Demesne is a graveslab in Templemore Demesne, County Tipperary, Ireland. It lies in the west section of a much altered church inside the present town park. The slab carries an English inscription around the edge that identifies Isaac Hales of Knockinroe, who died in the forty-third year of his age on the fifteenth of April 1703.

Situated on flat land N of the town, in the present town park. An artificial lake lies immediately to the W. A much altered church (TN029-062001-) which had a cross-wall added, possibly in 1762 when the C of I repaired a portion of the church, shortening the church as it became the new E wall. The church remained in use until 1790 (Walsh 1991, 46). Within the church (TN029-062001-) there are a number of loose architectural fragments, some of which have been inserted into a partially reconstructed window in the N wall. In the W section of the church there is a plain graveslab with an inscription in English around the edge, it reads: HERE LAYS THE BODY OF ISAAC HAIES OF KNOCRANROE WHO DYED THE 43 YEAR OF HIS AGE THE 15 OF APRIL 1703. It seems that Isaac Hales was a Cromwellian who had been granted land in Knockinroe (Walsh 1991, 46-7). Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien. Date of upload: 22 September 2008
