Structure

Two light roundwoods and two pieces of brushwood (L 1.7m min.; Wth 1.1m; D 0.2m), all dispersed and orientated E-W. The material is in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum and fibrous roots. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
