What is recorded here

Three dispersed pieces of light brushwood (Wth 1.1m; D 0.13m), with metal toolmarks evident. The wood is in good condition and in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
