Structure

A dispersed, irregular deposit (Wth 0.5m; D 0.41m) of four pieces of mixed brushwood and twigs. Toolmarks are present on one element. The wood is in poor condition and set in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and some of fibrous roots. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
