Situated in undulating pasture in the E corner of a field. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as an oval-shaped earthwork with a rectangular-shaped structure in the N quadrant. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly oval-shaped enclosure (approx. dims. 64m N-S; 54m E-W). Monument is visible today as an oval-shaped tree-lined earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
