Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Scartlea is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Scartlea, County Waterford, Ireland. The 1999 inventory recorded a circular grass-covered area 30 metres across on a slight northeast-facing slope at the bottom of a west-east valley. A widely spread earthen bank, 9 to 11 metres wide, defined the site, while an outer fosse about 7 metres wide and 0.4 metres deep survived from south-southwest to north.

Situated on a slight NE-facing slope at the bottom of a W-E valley. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30m) defined by a widely spread earthen bank (Wth 9-11m; int. H 0.1-0.5m; ext. H 0.3-0.7m). An outer fosse (Wth c. 7m; D 0.4m) survives SSW-N with only traces of it visible NE-S (Wth c. 8-10m). A Man-made underground passage (WA002-017003-) is in the bank at W. It is adjacent to an enclosure site (WA002-017001-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
