Standing stone in Roosky Upper, County Donegal, Ireland. Reclaimed land, valley below, western views. No trace appears on the first Ordnance Survey map, which means the stone outlasted the men who drew the landscape and defeated every instrument they trusted. It still stands where measurement failed, waiting to be seen by someone who does not need permission from a chart.

There is no trace of the 'Standing Stone' marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on reclaimed land, overlooking a valley, and with extensive views especially to the W.
