There is now no trace of the oval 'Fort' marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated in excellent land with extensive views. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
