Fairy fort in Riddlestown, County Limerick: an oval earthen ringfort, 42m by 47m, set into a south-facing pasture slope. Its bank rises higher inside than out, as if the ground tilted the enclosure toward the sky rather than the field. Briars and loose stones still mark its crest, while cattle graze above a shape that may have held people, excluded them, or simply waited for both.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Oval area (42m N-S; 47m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1m). Enclosure is built into down-slope so that bank is higher internally (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.4m) NW->ESE. Interior, under pasture, slopes gently down to S. Field boundary skirts enclosure immediately to W. Loose stones are scattered along bank N->E and briars and bushes grow on its crest WSW->SE.
