Structure

An irregularly laid half-split heavy roundwood and an underlying piece of light brushwood (L 0.52m min.; Wth 0.15m min.; D 0.17m). The site is in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and fibrous roots. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
