Structure

A deposit (Wth 1.01m; D 0.43m) consisting of a roundwood, four pieces of brushwood and a small bed of twigs with further material in the vicinity. The deposit slopes downward to the NE. The site is in poorly to moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
