What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Pollymount, County Roscommon, Ireland. The overgrown D-shaped site measures forty metres north-west to south-east and thirty metres east to west on a gentle west-facing slope. An earthen bank and outer fosse define the boundary, though a field bank truncated the north-east edge and no original entrance remains visible. Another rath stands two hundred and ten metres to the south-west.

Towards the top of a gentle W-facing slope. Overgrown D-shaped area (dims 40m NW-SE; 30m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (at SE: Wth 3m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.8m) and outer fosse (at SE: Wth of base 1.9m; D 0.2m). It has been truncated by a WNW-ESE field bank at NE and has a straight side at E. There is no identifiable original entrance.
