Cliff-edge fort in Newross is a cliff-edge fort in Newross, County Tipperary, Ireland. The steep-sided ravine forms the defensive element from the north to the northeast, while an earth and stone bank protects the remainder of the semicircular area. A wide flat-bottomed fosse and a causewayed entrance at the south complete the enclosure beside the nearby ringfort.

Situated on flat pasture in an upland area with a ravine and river immediately to the NE and a nearby ringfort (TN031-058) to the S. A semicircular area (diam. 17m NW-SE; 22m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.5-3.5m; int. H 1m; ext. H 3m) and wide flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 4m; D 2.5m) with a causewayed entrance (Wth 4.5m) at S. A steep-sided ravine forms the defensive element of the site from N to NE, elsewhere the site is protected by the bank.
