What is recorded here
Unknown Townland in Unknown Region, Ireland: a small square tower abuts the west side of Bermingham tower inside Dublin Castle. It had three storeys by 1585, though only its lowest courses remain visible below ground level today. The buried stone suggests a busy castle edge where people climbed, watched or worked beside a taller neighbour.
