Fairy fort in Mitchellsfort, County Cork, Ireland. A circular earthen ring, about thirty-four metres across, with a low bank and shallow ditch. The entrance faces south-southeast. It sits in pasture on level ground, quiet and old.
In pasture, on level ground. Circular area (34m N-S; 35m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.15m); shallow fosse to SE. Bank low to E where abutted externally by field fence; entrance (Wth 4m) to SSE, sloping to exterior.
