In low-lying ground, near a natural watercourse. Discovered during archaeological monitoring in advance of the construction of the N8 Glanmire-Watergrasshill Bypass and excavated in 2001. Excavation revealed an isolated cremation burial with no accompanying pottery or other finds. (Purcell 2003b, 50)
