Castle (Site of), Trantstown is a lost castle in County Cork, Ireland. It stood on a south-facing slope now buried under pasture. The 1842 map still called it ruins, but later maps admitted only that a castle had existed there. The land kept the secret while the boundary markers changed their minds.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. No visible surface trace of site marked 'Castle (in ruins)' on 1st ed. OS 6" map (1842) but as 'site of' on later editions. Very little appears to be known about this castle. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
