What is recorded here

Indicated is a partially overgrown fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland, where a low stone-faced bank and scarp enclose a subcircular pasture area with two narrow gaps. A rectangular raised area sits in the southeast quadrant beside a burial ground in the northeast, suggesting the ring served both the living and the dead. The broken slope, missing wall sections and hidden interior keep the place half-remembered, as if the fort still withholds more than it reveals.

In pasture, on break in N-facing slope. Partially overgrown, subcircular area enclosed by scarp (H 1.4m) NNW->S; earthen bank (H 1.2m) S->NNW, stone faced in parts. Gaps (Wth 3m) to NNE and NW. Rectangular raised area (19m NE-SW; 14m NW-SE) enclosed by low wall, in SE quadrant; burial ground (CO132-047002-) in NE quadrant.
