Explorer Tom Knockaphukeen has caught my eye in County Cork. I bet a mountain / peak with a name like that could keep me talking all afternoon; I'm already inventing a daft little scene for it, and I'll stop before it turns into history.
Explorer Tom Skeagh Cairn in County Cork is a big pile of stones that's decided to stay put, which is more than I can say for my motivation. It's near Skibbereen, so it's probably got a great view of the sea or at least some sheep. Wave at the cairn!
Meen BridgeBridge · 3.4 miExplorer Tom Meen Bridge is straddling the Roaringwater River like a champ. Built around 1800, it’s a masterpiece of craftsmanship. Take a picture for me if you pass!

Caheragh Burial GroundGraveyard · 4.3 miExplorer Tom Caheragh Burial Ground was once a church that vanished by 1699. Now it’s just a walled patch in the pasture where people still bury their relatives, so don't be too nosy.

Kilcoe Castle (in Ruins)Castle, tower house · 4.9 miExplorer Tom Kilcoe Castle is on that same little island with a conjoined tower. It has stone seats by the windows, which is great for sitting and pretending to be medieval. The stairs go up to the third floor. Watch your step; the past can be slippery.
Kilcoe CastleCastle · 4.9 miExplorer Tom Kilcoe Castle on Mannin Beg in County Cork is perched on an island and looks absolutely dramatic against the sky. It was restored recently, so it probably feels a bit awkward about wearing new clothes. Take a wide shot.
