What is recorded here
Under the central depression of a West Cork ringfort, hidden chambers wait for someone brave enough to stop listening and start seeing. They are not dreams, though they may be mysteries. They are the kind of place where human hands worked in darkness and left the result behind.
Chambers said to exist under depression in interior of ringfort (CO132-046---).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
