In rough boggy pasture, on the SW-facing slope of Mangerton Mountain, overlooking the valley of the Owbaun River. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 4m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.7m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.5m) which is best preserved along the N arc. The W portion of the interior is raised and the E portion is cut into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. Loose stones are scattered around the interior. Another hut site (KE084-006006-) is c. 17m to the ENE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
