What is recorded here
In level, lowlying pasture. Indicated on the 1837 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure, bisected to S of centre by an E–W field boundary and clipped on the perimeter at SE by another field boundary, on a NE–SW axis. The faint outline of a circular area (diam. 20-25m) can be discerned cut on the SE side by a field fence on a NE–SW axis. There is a mound of field clearance at its E side.
