Carriganaffrin is a mass-rock on Knockseefin in County Limerick, marked on the 1840 Ordnance Survey map and later drawn as a cliff-edge quarry face. It sits just below the summit, a hundred metres from an old burial mound, where stone may have been taken for walls, roads or memorials. Scrub has since crept across the place, softening the quarry edge and hiding the hands that shaped it.
