Oval shaped spread of burnt material (8m NE-SW; 3m NW-SE) visible in ploughed field 28m to N of stream. Patch of dark brown soil (c. 6m x c. 6m) 14m to N of site, containing some burnt stones. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
