Hut site in Gullaba

In hill pasture, on a break in a N-facing slope, in the lower NE-facing slopes of Gullaba Hill. The well-preserved remains of an oval hut site (3.8m N-S; 2.2m E-W) defined by a wall (T c. 0.75m; H 0.45m) which comprises stone and earth. There is an entrance (Wth 0.6m) at E. Loose stones are scattered in the interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
