Hut site in Erneen

Within an enclosure (KE103-016016-) and field system (KE103-016017-). The remains of an oval hut site (4.3m NE-SW; 1.7m NW-SE) defined by a partially grass-covered, roughly constructed, drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m) with large stones in the base. The wall is best preserved W-E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
