Situated on a small island of firm ground surrounded by wet, marshy land, within a small steep-sided valley. A roughly horseshoe-shaped raised area (8m E-W; 4m N-S; H 0.6m) with open area at S. There is another fulacht fia (SL012-090001-) located 2m to NNW.
