Five fulachta fiadh still mark the marshy edge of Garr, where burning water may have cleaned meat, brewed beer or touched the dead. This is the largest shadow in that small company, a shallow disc of black clay and shattered stone wide enough for several people to circle before the heat faded. A graveyard lies close to the south, and in a place like this the boundary between kitchen and ritual never fully closed.

Circular mound (H c. 0.25m, Diam c. 11m with central depression (3m x 2.5m) and consisting of burnt and fine shattering stones with black clay. On low-lying flat marshy land between good pasture land and bog with graveyard to S (OF004-002----). Grass covered circular mound (11.5m N-S; 11m E-W; H 0.25m) of burnt material with central hollow depression (2.5m by 3m). One of a group of five fulachta fiadh.
