What is recorded here

In tillage, c. 170m NE of fulacht fiadh (CO046-037---). According to local information, burnt material was discovered here during land reclamation c. 1980; prior to reclamation no mound was visible. Now no visible trace of burnt material. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
