Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Garraun (Ballysheehan parish) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Garraun (Ballysheehan parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies poorly drained grassland at the base of a west-facing hill, with a small pond immediately to its northeast. The site consists of a slightly raised circular area, measuring 29 metres north-south and 30 metres east-west, enclosed by an earth and stone bank that is mainly reduced to a 0.9-metre-high scarp but best preserved along the east quadrant. A concrete sheep dipping tank stands in the east quadrant of the interior.
In poorly drained grassland in upland area at base of a W-facing hill with good views to N and higher ground to W. Small pond immediately to NE of ringfort as indicated on first ed. OS 6-inch map. Ringfort consists of a slightly raised circular area (diam. 29m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 1.2m; base Wth 2.4m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.8m) which has been mainly reduced to a scarp (H 0.9m ). Concrete sheep dipping tank constructed in E quadrant of interior. Ringfort is in a fair to poor condition with the bank best preserved along E quadrant.
