Internal diam. c. 24.6m A univallate rath situated on the E slopes of Corrin mountain, overlooking the valley of the Finglas river. It has been truncated by the construction of a road and only the NW half of the enclosure survives. The bank rises from .3 to 1m above the interior and from .5 to 1.1m above the base of the fosse. Though much disturbed, the bank retains 2 to 3 courses of drystone facing along its inner edge at the SW end. The fosse is c. 2.4m wide and 1.2m deep below the external ground level, but appears to have been modified, possibly for drainage purposes. The interior slopes markedly downhill to E and an irregular hollow in the NE sector is probably the remains of a hut, c. 5.8m in diameter. The hollow is enclosed by a low bank, 1m wide and a maximum of .55m high. This is open to S and there is no visible trace of any wall facing. The above description is derived from J.
