Hut site in Erneen

Within a field system (KE103-016017-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.2m) defined by a partially grass-covered, collapsed drystone wall (T 0.8m; H 0.6m). Large stones are visible in the lower course. A relict wall of the field system abuts at N, where outcropping rock shelters the hut site. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
